RARE - Both of these early Detroit postcard issuers, H.M. Taylor and Wolverine News Co. made postcard sets of the 1907-09 Detroit Tigers. They are from the same era as the more common A.C. Diesche Detroit Postcards, but are far rarer. The PC773-2 H.M. Taylor postcards (name on back bottom left corner) are 3-1/2" by 5-1/2" with a "photo by Fred G. Wright" line on front. There are 8 different H.M. Taylor postcards known (including one uncataloged pose). The PC773-3 Wolverine News Co. postcards (name on back left side border) are 3-1/2" by 5-1/2". There are 20 different Wolverine News Co. postcards known.  

The set known as PC773-1 was issued in 1908 by the Detroit Free Press and is even slightly rarer.

The rare "Base Ball Mail Card" postcard unfolds to show a New York NL Schedule and an ad for "Chas Wiener Custom Taylor Shop". It is unknown if other players exist in this series.
