SCARCE - Helmar Cigarettes issued a series of small stamps in 1911. They included baseball players and actresses. The stamps are roughly 1.1" by 1.4" in size and can be found with many different frame designs. Stamps of the same design are also found with nonsport personalities. There are 181 different baseball players in the set. |
