SCARCE to RARE - These real photo cards were issued by the Ligget & Myers Tobacco Co. in 1913. The horizontal cards are roughly 4.75" by 2.6" in size, and are actually real photographs on thin photo paper. Because they are real photos and are brittle, the cards are often found slightly curled, and often show cracking, crazing, edge chipping, and are sometimes missing corners or larger areas of the card. There are 16 teams in the set, but about 1/3rd of them are very tough to find. |
