SCARCE to VERY RARE - The popular Pacific Coast League Zeenut cards were made from 1911-1938 by the Collins-McCarthy Candy Co. of San Francisco. These attractive cards were found in boxes of "Zeenut" and "Ruf-Neks" candy. All cards from 1913-1938 originally included a 1/2" redemption coupon on the bottom portion of the card. All Zeenut cards are fairly scarce in any form and are considered very rare when found with the coupon still attached. In 1931 there are 120 different cards known. In 1932 there are 120 different cards known. In 1933-1936 the cards have the same design so it is impossible to tell the exact year without the coupon attached, so the 1933-36 cards are collected as a single set with 159 different players known, not including about 20 more picture design variations. In 1937-1938 the cards have the same design again, so the 1937-1938 cards are collected as a single set with 99 different cards known.
