SCARCE - These large attractive premiums were issued by the Chicago Cubs in 1932 with a similar set issued in 1933. The 1932 issue are roughly 6-1/8" by 9-1/4" in size and have a black background and a white facsimile autograph. The 1933 issue has the same design with slight differences in the cropping of the grass areas between the same players in both years. The easiest way to tell the sets appart is by the size, the 1933 issue are smaller at 5-7/8" by 8-7/8". There are 35 different in the 1932 set including some nonplaying personnel. There are 30 different in the 1933 set including some nonplaying personnel. |
