RARE - The Newton Annis Furs cards are postcard sized photos, printed in a sepia color and are blank backed.  For close to 75 years, the origin of this set of cards was unknown. In about 2007 a poster picturing the exact photos and captions of all the players was connected to this set. The poster was put out by Newton Annis Furs, a Detroit retailer. They are not well known and were previously believed to have been a Detroit Tigers Team Issue and are still identified that way by some.  The cards have a unique design with 3 stripes in the top border.  The players name and position is printed within the photo.  There are 23 different players known, all Detroit Tigers.

The attractive 1935 M120 Detroit Free Pree premiums are large 9" by 11" colorized portrait pictures with a brightly colored background, printed on medium thin stock and issued with the newspaper only on single days during the 1935 season. There are 26 different players in the set.
