Wheaties

"Fancy Frame"

1935

These colorful cereal box cutouts were issued by Wheaties in 1935 and in 1936. They are called "fancy frame" cards and were the first of many sets found on the back of Wheaties cereal boxes. These 2 sets are roughly 6" by 6.25" with frames. It is common for the back to show some wax stains from the box. 1935 set has only a signature on front and is complete at 27 different cards. The 1936 set has a signature and printed name on front and is complete at 12 different cards.
