Chicle Peloteros

RARE - These 2" by 3" Cuban cards were issued with gum called Chicle Peloteros in the winter of 1956/57. These chicle cards are rarely seen and made of a thick modern type gum card stock similar to the Topps cards of the era. Backs of these cards have the players name, card number, and a bio printed in spanish. They are usually found pasted into a special colorful album. Even though the card numbers go up to at least #87, there are only 40 different cards known (from 4 different teams) in the set.
